KaSaMa stands for Ka-Science and Ka-Mathematics reflecting the program’s vision of building the largest community of K to 12 science and mathematics educators in the country. Established in 2011, KaSaMa Teachers Community is a professional online community of educators led by the National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development (NISMED) of the University of the Philippines-Diliman in partnership with the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation.

Kasamateachers.ph is a one-stop hub for Ka-Science and Ka-Mathematics teachers for quality resources, communication, and professional development. KaSaMa teachers can freely access and download resources vetted by UP NISMED and other leading agencies in STEM Education for their teaching-learning needs. KaSaMa teachers may also collaborate with their peer educators through the Discussion or Chat features of kasamateachers.ph.
